the party scene has got the best of me and you

zachary landon mccoy is one busy guy, to say the least. i'm sure you've met him. he's loud and obnoxious and can be hysterically amusing or a complete tool, depending on when you talk to him. he can be a bit violent- seriously, he punched out oliver kingston for terrorizing sage tucker. crazy much? he's a stoner boy with a drinking problem, and, while you didn't hear this from me, he dabbles in some harder drugs than just weed. but his addictions aren't what we're here to talk about. this guy's a player. sure, he makes a point of never telling girls he honestly wants to date them so he doesn't "lead them on", but the way he flirts leads them on enough in my eyes. i'm thinking the sex might make them think they matter, too. just saying.

so first and foremost, there's lucy amber beckett. she's one of zach's best friends and she's dating one mr. ryan lewis hopkins, who's about five years older than her. zach got all protective and somehow started this big fight between himself and lucy by telling her that sleeping with him would be a bad idea. well, i see where he's coming from- there's a big difference between seventeen in high school and twenty-two, returning from time spent at war. but i have to say that maybe zach isn't being protective so ryan doesn't go to jail. maybe he just doesn't want lucy sleeping with anyone. anyone that's not him, that is. just an idea...

and then there's jezebella marie leone. this stunning junior's pretty new here, but zach's made his mark already. they've already slept together- either he's even more charming than i thought, she's incredibly easy, or both. any rate, they've hooked up and are continuing to. zach just better be careful, though, because with the nicknames and the flirting and even just the way he looks at her, it's more than clear that she's going to end up falling, and falling hard. zach doesn't "do" relationships, remember, jezzy? don't waste your time; you can't change a guy like that.

and last but not least is angela joyce bradley. she's, well, she's wasting her time too. she's in love with our mr. mccoy, despite the fact that a) he's not gonna do a damn thing about it and b) he's a total asshole. wait, what? he loves her, too? oh, yeah. forgot about that. so while he's been doing jezebella and probably some other girls as well, he's been in love with angela. she knows, even. she knows he loves her and he know she loves him but he's so messed up because of his last girlfriend that he's not even going to give it a shot. what an asshole, though- he's been sleeping with at least one other girl despite apparently being in love with another? zach's been saying love is bullshit- if you think about his actions, he's proving his philosophy right there. he can say he loves angie all he wants, but there's no way around this one simple fact: zachary mccoy is a jackass. his last girlfriend may have hurt him (long story short. two year relationship, cheated on him over half a dozen times, died in a car wreck cause he left her at a party when he saw her with one of his best friends. he still feels guilty that he could have prevented that and he didn't, and he's still hurt that she slept with seven different guys, all of which he knew well) but that doesn't give him an excuse to fuck around with these girls the way he's doing. what happened to juliette is terrible but the sob story doesn't mean sleeping with everything that moves without a shred of dignity is okay.

& there's only so much drama i can take

since the last post was not only pretty short, it wasn’t all that interesting, this one’s gonna be good. or bad, depending on who you are and how involved in the story you are. either way, i doubt this one’s gonna blow over pretty soon. i hate to bring up sage delia tucker and james dylan greenings for the thousandth time, but i swear there’s something new to share. a certain sophomore, miss brittany marie sweet has arrived and she’s got her eye on sage. and unfortunately for james, sage can’t help but look back. i mean, i’m on sage’s side with the whole jackson issue (which appears to be over already! that tiny brunette moves on fast, apparently) because let’s face it, rose is just annoying. but this is taking it too far. james deserves the best, and when what he sees as the best is constantly into someone else, there’s trouble for someone.

sage and britt flirt. they talk. they laugh. and, well, i know something you don’t know. and, seeing as it’s me, you’ll know in a second. on their planned sleepover -dancing in underwear? building forts?- they did more than just rock out in boxers. they kissed. and not a kiss like the peck you give your sweet old granny when you’re saying goodbye on christmas. no, this was the kind of kiss sage is supposed to save for james. but you know, i get it. britt’s certainly gorgeous, and kisses just happen sometimes (though i doubt james will buy that.) at least they didn’t have sex, right? cause that does not “just happen”. there are about a thousand chances where you could stop and, well, not. no, brittany didn’t sleep with sage. james, though, yes. (not britt and james. sage and james.) come on. she bitches out rose for being a whore and then sleeps with her boyfriend for the first time the day after she cheats on him?

come on, james, quit while you’re ahead. you got laid, didn’t you? and she can tell you that she loves you a million times over, but i get the feeling sage isn’t in this for the long haul. chin up, mr. greenings- you’ve always got alexandria emilie mccoy, yeah? everyone’s seen how your little mccoy looks at you. if sage wants to hold onto her guy, she better get her act together -none of this kissing other people, missy!- and make sure she does it fast. jame
s gives out compliments to alex like a pedophile gives out candy to children (okay that was the creepiest analogy ever), and there’s no doubt that she’s loving it. loving him. and does james feel the same way? who knows, at this point? seeing as his girlfriend’s pretty into someone else, who’s to say that james isn’t gonna take advantage of alex’s feelings?

piece of the puzzle & you're my missing part

everyone knows maximilian jay greenings. he's the music teacher here at ridgeway, and probably one of the most loved educators at the school. also in the top ten teachers is miss zoe olivia saxe, the home ec teacher that gets hit on by her male students all the time. (cooking class is pretty gay, you have to admit it. and if you don't hit on the sexy teacher, then there's not much standing in the way of labelling you very, very gay forever.) anyway, the home ec kitcheny classroom is right across from the music room. and in between classes, before and after school, and basically any time they have a moment, max and zoe get to talking. they seem to be pretty good friends, right? right.

are they more than that? most likely. they flirt all the time and they're going out for a coffee date, so i'm thinking something's up. let's hope it grows into something more, cause if they aren't the cutest couple made of old people you've ever seen, you must be blind.

turn out the lights

here’s a quick update- won’t take too long, promise. peter julian fletcher and tanya rose jones have been secretly hooking up. it was only to be expected, seeing as they’ve both been around the block more than a few times. it’s unsurprising that they’re getting to know each other (in the biblical sense, of course). what’s a bit weird is the fact that it’s a secret.

oops. was a secret.

you're not that easy to forget

rebecca sylvia monroe and caden james miller’s break up is old news by now. but i can’t say that i didn’t think it’d take a little more time for the soccer superstar to move on! he’s got a new girl, and her name is miss isabella grace ray summers. they were watching the fireworks at the carnival a couple weeks ago- adorable, i agree. but wait, what? a week before that, just seven days, he and rebecca were sharing an equally adorable moment in the rain. a hug that lasted a bit longer than necessary before heading off to her house. true, this was before caden asked out isabella, but i have to admit there’s something fishy about this whole situation. (and i don’t mean the kind that comes at red lobster, hardy har har. i mean i think it’s suspicious. i know you wanted the explanation; don’t bother thanking me.

everyone was at the beach party and barbeque event. i’d say everyone who’s anyone, except i hate that phrase. i just thought i’d share that with you all. even a few certain someones with major water fears showed up (you know who you are!). anyway, nobody missed it. caden and rebecca were no exception- they were walking along the beach with miss isabella nowhere in sight. their discussion turned to soccer- as we all know, we’d be lost without caden and his co-captain skyler mikey welch- and rebecca’s feelings toward that particular player (and yes, i’m referring to the fact that he’s an athlete. not saying he’s a womanizer, at least, not at the moment.) at any rate, caden’s answer to her possibly liking the other soccer jock was, and i quote, “i mean, it’s fine if you do- he’s a cool guy.” interesting, yes, especially given how clear it was that it wasn’t fine at all- but the best part comes after. “he’ll do great when i leave the team, you know.”

if you did a doubletake, don’t worry. so did i. caden’s leaving the team? why? well, that’s a story for another time, because i have no clue either. and just saying, his reaction to the idea of skyler and rebecca together, well…it seemed a little hasty and thrown together to me. maybe he’s hiding something besides his reason for ditching soccer?

we've got a big big mess on our hands tonight

well i don't know if you've heard, but james dylan greenings finally grew a pair and told sage delia tucker he loved her. it's cute, it is, especially since everyone had a feeling that the friends were going to get together sometime. and sage's best friend, jackson dean evans found love, too! in one miss rosalind beau russel. everyone should be happy, right? wrong. very wrong.

sage and rose hate each other, which must be a downer for jackson. jackson and james hate each other, which must be a downer for sage. and wait, there's more. sage loves jack, which must be a huuuge downer for james. not that jack's interested in her, which must be way humiliating for sage, who badmouths rose whenever she gets the chance. i've heard what she says, though, and all of it is true. who would know better than me, right? and don't think sage is just an awful, awful girl, either. rose talks trash about her, too. so poor jackson, he has to listen to his best friend bitch about his girlfriend and his girlfriend bitch about his best friend.

is it just me, or are sage and jackson both missing the most obvious thing ever? come on, kiddies. we all know it’s going to happen eventually, so just kiss and make up already. what are you even arguing about? oh yeah- jack's new girlfriend, rose. listen up, jackie, you can do better and you know it. what’s the fuss about this girl, anyway? she doesn’t seem like anything all that special. though james could also be a problem if sage ever decides she wants jack more. he's her boyfriend now, after all. these four make life way more complicated than it needs to be. sage hates rose who loves jack who hates james who loves sage who loves jack who loves rose who hates sage who loves james who hates jack and so on and so forth. my opinion? well, since you asked. sage and james are far too cute to split up, but that rose spells trouble for jack. sure, she's a sweetheart and yeah, she is fun to party with, but that drinking problem of hers might catch up to her in this new found relationship. then again, sage has got some baggage too- she's got crazy abandonment issues, due to an event that maybe, just maybe, she doesn't want everyone to know.

every single one of these crazy kids has a decision to make, and a big one at that. sage has to figure out if being just friends with jack is enough for her. and if she can handle watching him with the girl she hates most. and if she'd rather be with jack or james. and since jack isn't interested, if she's going to keep dragging james along. james has to decide if he's willing to watch his girl figure all that out, because he's not the type of guy to stick around for nothing. rose, well, rose doesn't have much to work out- she's got her boy and who cares if his best friend doesn't like her? the feeling's certainly mutual and rose is the kind of girl that can erase the bros before hos mentality. as for jack, well. jack needs to know which is more important- sage's friendship or a relationship with rose, because it really doesn't look like he can have both.
